The problem

QSLD is a high-end Parisian design agency that works with the luxury sector. Its Parisian HQ was struggling to exchange heavy files with the offices in Geneva and Tampa (Florida), and had no centralized database, which was holding back the overall sales process.

The solution

TBSCG now manages the email system, FTP administration and local network administration on behalf of QSLD. It also now hosts QSLD’s digital media asset management system, MediaBin.

Description

TBSCG provides QSLD with the following services:

Microsoft Exchange email hosting:

• Emails can now be consulted on desktop computers, laptops, smartphones and via webmail, making synchronization problems a thing of the past.
• Internet connection costs have been substantially reduced because the email servers are no longer hosted by QSLD, enabling the costly dedicated line to be replaced by a simple ADSL line.

The MediaBin digital asset management system is hosted by TBSCG’s London-based hosting centre:

• Wherever they are in the world, QSLD’s sales reps have round-the-clock access to the MediaBin to enhance their presentations.
• The hosting centre also regularly backs-up all of the agency’s work.

Network management:

TBSCG and QSLD’s networks are connected via VPN tunnels.

• QSLD’s American, French and Swiss offices are connected by a virtual network, enabling employees based in Paris to print directly on their colleague’s printer in Tampa.
